Most asteroids are found in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. However, we can find them elsewhere in our solar system as well.

A detailed diagram showing the glowing Sun at the very center, circled by the distinct orbital paths of the rocky inner planets. You can prominently see a thick, scattered ring of small rocks located between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter, clearly labeled as the main asteroid belt.
